Bâtiment
Un endroit indispensable au fonctionnement du pays. Ce bâtiment contemporain reprend les éléments typiques d'architecture (enduits, briques, tuiles...) des anciens bâtiments coloniaux. Il abrite les 51 membres du Conseil économique, social et culturel (CESC) qui est la 4ème institution de la Polynésie française. Le CESC a un rôle consultatif auprès du gouvernement et de l'assemblée de la Polynésie française. Il rend des avis sur les projets ou propositions de « lois du pays » et élabore des rapports assortis de recommandations sur les sujets qu'il choisi d'étudier.
The economic and social council
An essential place for the country’s functionning. This modern building was inspired by tipycal architectural elements (coatings, bricks, tiles…) of the former colonial buildings. It shelters the 51 memebers of the economic, social and cultural council (ESCC) which is the fourth institution of French Polynesia. The ESCC has an advisory role to the government and the Assembly of French Polynesia. It gives its opinions concerning the “country’s bills” and develops reports with recommandations about the topics it chooses to examine.
